PAINTERLY LIGHT: Photograph Like the Masters

Join photographer Andrew French On FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19 & SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20 for this two day workshop on the beautiful grounds of Villa de Fiori! Andrew shoots editorial and commercial work for clients including Food & Wine, Esquire, Town & Country, House & Garden and O, The Oprah Magazine. He also operates one of the only remaining daylight studios in New York City. His instruction is sought after for his mastery of natural light and his ability to sculpt it with shadow.  A longtime member of the faculty at the International Center of Photography and New York University, with this two day workshop Andrew will share with participants an inside glimpse at his signature approach for working with light and shadow. A blend of instructional sessions and photo shoots in the magical setting of an Addison Mizner home and its grounds, this creative immersion will focus on the painterly light techniques made famous by the old masters. Photographers of all levels are welcome!
