Suzanne Dansby
Suzanne Mott Dansby is a graduate with a BA degree in Comparative Religions from the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee. She has participated on foundation boards delegating grants to non-profit organizations, as well as on the boards of non-profits asking for and receiving grants. Her experience gives her the ability to assess and analyze the non-profit sector from both viewpoints, from both sides of the coin, so to speak.
Retired from owning and operating her own business in riding and training in dressage for 33 years, and with her two children now grown up, Suzanne has more time to devote to other pursuits, including her desire to give back to worthy non-profit causes and organizations. And, this does not stop at writing a check. For Suzanne, it means learning as much about the causes which capture her interest, and often offering her services, using skill sets in hopes to provide some assistance.
Suzanne's skills include, but are not limited to: Hospitality Organization, Strategy Teamwork, and decision-making. Her non-profit sectors of interest are animal welfare, Arts, Education, Environment, Human trafficking, Health and Wellness, and Women's and Children's issues. Her hobbies include Clay shooting, entertaining, spending time with her family, fly fishing, gardening, hiking, interior design, photography, and travel.
Family motto: "We are known by our deeds."
